“But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high. I call out to the Lord, and he answers me from his holy mountain.”‭‭Psalm‬ ‭3:3-4‬ ‭
If you trust God whole heartily he will be always with you and never leave you. He doesn’t let his children be ashamed and never let his kids head low. The Lord delivers us from everything!

3:5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.

Psalm 3: When you are running for your life you truly long for and appreciate the hand of the Lord. The Lord sustains me (v. 5)

Psalm 3: O Lord, how many are your deeds. The Lord answers our prayers (v. 4), lifts us up (v. 3), sustains us (v. 5), delivers us (v. 8), and blesses us (v. 8).

Psalm 3- This is a Psalm of David, when he fled from his son Absalom. Adverse situations helped David to fix his eyes on God. He confidently says, “Deliverance belongs to the Lord.”

Psalm:3V.5. I lay down and slept; I awoke , for the Lord sustained me
God sustains us in our sleep. In our sleep we are asleep, unconscious, dead to the world but we breathe, our heart pumps, our organs operate. The same God who sustains us in our sleep will sustain us in our difficulties.

O Lord , are a shield for me(v3)God is our shield and we should be confident about it, so that no one can shake us.

Psalms3:Protector- (v3) shield around me.
Lifter of my head: (v3) the one who lifts my head high.
Answerer:(v4) he answers me.
Sustainer:(v5) the Lord sustains me.
Deliverer:(v8) from the Lord comes deliverance.
What an awesome God we serve, he protects me, lifts me, answers me, sustains me, delivers me. I thank you Lord from the bottom of my heart!!!

I cried un to the Lord and he heard me. David was very confident in saying this in past tense.

நான் படுத்து நித்திரை செய்தேன்; விழித்துக்கொண்டேன்; கர்த்தர் என்னைத் தாங்குகிறார்.‭‭சங்கீதம்‬ ‭3:5‬ – What a great protection from our God.

LORD, how many are my foes! How many rise up against me!-Temptations and evil thoughts assaults everyday.
I will not fear though tens of thousands draw up against me on every side.
– For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities,against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Arise, LORD! Deliver me, my God!
From the LORD comes deliverance.

The Lord will answer our prayers. The Lord is my shield, my glory and the one who lifts my head high.

Psalms 3: We should not be afraid of ten thousands of people who are against us because the Lord is with us.

Psalms:- 3David was criticized (3:2)by the people around him, we don’t have sound evidence that he did mistake at this point and howmuch ??! Whatever may it would be bcz of misunderstanding/ miscommunication between the people and him. But here there is clue is when he had struggling/ problem he called him loudly(3:4) (why do David called loudly why not with patience), may be he may longer in the distance between god and his relationship! Yet god answered him, lift him and save him from enormous enemies he had.
The thought is,
1)what is the relationship between god and us (how much distance)????
2) Are we have enough voice/ energy to call him where we are?????
3) Do we have confidence that God will answer, lift and safe us from our enemies????
Yes I have !!! Our greatest privilege is to enjoy God’s presence! Do you?????

Psalm 3FAITH:
-We should “believe” that He is our shield, we should “believe” that the glory we get is through His Glory, we should “believe” that He lifts our head high.
-If we do so, we don’t have to fear though tens of thousands assail us on every side.
-If we call out to Him, He will fight for us, He will deliver us! All we need to do is have FAITH on Him.

If you cry to God with whole heart, mind and soul definitely god will hear you also.

To the Lord I cry aloud and he answers me – how true this verse is. Experiencing this verse day in and day out. I will not fear anything that draws me because the Lord is my shield.

Psalm 3 : whenever we try to run out from all evil forces( or )try to walk with Jesus we could see 1)troubles are increasing 2)sometime people would talk about our relationship with God says that we can’t get any help from God , etc. But we should always remember what a great friend we have in Jesus . So whatever is trying to put down let’s take our problems into God in our prayer like david did .

Psalm 3: We should have faith in our God who hears and answers prayer! This chapter calls us to count on the Lord for:1.He is our shield.
2.He will lift us up.
3.He protects and sustains us.
4. He watches over us.
5.He loves us deeply.
