Psalm 9

It is a great privilege to be at His sight and call Him, Father! It’s sad that many around us still didn’t understand this.

Psalm 8 : 1-2 Reflect on How God uses Man
3-5 Reflect Why God Cares for people
6-9 Reflect on What God Has Given People

Psalm 9: The psalmist invites us to recount His wonderful deeds, rejoice in it and reveal it to others. “Sing praises to the Lord…Declare his deeds among the peoples” (v. 11).

9:1 I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.Looking back, we realize many times that if God was not with us, we would have perished. Just the mere thought that He is with us delights us.

Psalm:9- Wonderful ways to praise God wholeheartedly:1. telling the great things God has done for us.
2.expressing gladness and joy in our God.
3.singing praises to our God who does great things.

கர்த்தாவே, உம்மைத் தேடுகிறவர்களை நீர் கைவிடுகிறதில்லை- if we have this confidence like David each and every day,we can face all situations just like He wants us to.

Psalm 9: 9-10 God should be our stronghold in times of trouble. We can confidently put our trust in him. He has a track record of never letting down his children.

The Lord is a Righteous Judge and he is known for his judgments (v. 8, 16); the Lord is also a Strong Refuge for the oppressed and he will not forsake those who put their trust in Him (v. 9-10). He is truly worthy of ALL our praise and “will not forsake those who seek [Him]” (v. 1-2, 10). –

“The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.” ~ Psalm 9:9. In the news we often here about refugees trying to get a better life but sometimes it’s difficult for them. God says He is the true refuge for them and stronghold. Even for us, when we feel unsafe, if we trust in God, He will deliver us. –

Psalms 9:(v9) God is the place of security and our refuge. He is our assurance, he is always there to care for us in times of trouble and deliver us from our sorrows. (v12) He will not ignore the cries of the afflicted, For he reigns forever(v7)

(v1,2) We should be glad and rejoice in the Lord because of his marvelous works. We should thank him with all our heart.(v10) God says, he will never forget those who know him and trust in him.

Psalm 9: In verse 1 it tells us to give thanks to the Lord with our whole heart. That means that we should give thanks to God and we should mean it.

Psalm 9To the tune of “The Death of the Son”.
-In Psalm 8, David summarizes Genesis 1.
In Psalm 9, I’m assuming David talks about Genesis 4:8, where Cain killed his brother Abel. LORD said, “What have you done, your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground (Gen 4:10).
-(Psalm 9:12) For he who avenges blood remembers; he does not ignore the cries of the afflicted.
-Cain was kicked out from the LORD’s presence (Gen 4:16).

Psalm 9: “Let the nations know that they are but men!” (v. 20). Though David is talking about people who do not know God, it is a profound truth that we need to remind ourselves of. We are but mere mortals.

The Lord reigns forever.

2 உம்மில் மகிழ்ந்து களிகூருவேன், உன்னதமானவரே, உமது நாமத்தைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுவேன்- I wish, this be my experience all the days

Psalm 9: God is more powerful than our enemies and our struggles. We need to turn to God in the midst of our struggles. David is praising God’s character in the midst of his sufferings. He synced up with God and experience the joy of God. God will protect us if we have Psalm 9 attitude. Ver 9:10  கர்த்தாவே, உம்மைத் தேடுகிறவர்களை நீர் கைவிடுகிறதில்லை;

“Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.”Psalm‬ ‭9:10‬ ‭NIV‬‬We can put all our trust in the Lord, when we face troubles and tough situations in our life. Knowing that God will take care of everything and he will never forsake those who seek him in faith.

Here I could see david most humbleness when he is asking help with praising attitude from God . And when he feel week and low he has a positive and praising attitude like verse 1 and 2 I will praise you with my whole heart
I will be glad and rejoice in you
He will be refuge in times of trouble .
Lord help us to stay in you forever and ever.

Psalms 9:10 They that know thy name will put their trust in thee; for that thou Lord hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
