Psalm 14: “Our God is with the company of the righteous” (v. 5). His presence is guaranteed.
Psalm 14: “there is no one who does good, not even one” (v. 3), total depravity of mankind. Even wonder why Jesus himself said, “don’t call me good…”
The LORD looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God. – Psalm 14:2. Lord’s eyes are on those who seek him.
Psalm 14: Ver 3 reflects as Paul says in Rom 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Ver 5: சிறுமைப்பட்டவனுக்குக் கர்த்தர் அடைக்கலமாயிருக்கிறார். God is my refuge in any circumstances.
Psalm 14- “for God is present in the company of the righteous”. Even though evil is present in this world, God is with us always but we have to be righteous in the sight of the Lord.
Psalm 13From dull eyes to delight
Our eyes betrays what is going on inside the soul and body. A tired body or suffering soul both makes our eyes heavier and heavier until it finally closes in sleep to utter darkness. Psalmist ask God to lighten his eyes. Lighten either means to make his eyes bright or to reduce the weight that it carries on its lids. (V3). In any case, the answer is in v.5 – hesed. To trust God’s covenant to lift us up. It is “your” salvation not mine that makes me rejoice.
Psalm 11: Even though we will be chased by our enemies throughout our lives, the Lord will protect us if we have faith and a strong foundation in his righteousness.
Psalm 12:
This psalm shows us some of God’s ways: he will always cut off all flattering lips (v. 3), always protect the poor (v. 5), and always follows what he says he will do (v. 6-7). We do not need to worry because God will never change.
Psalm 13:
In Psalm 13, David mainly worries about his enemy prevailing over him, which would dishonor the name of the Lord. We should always trust God and praise Him for his mercy and salvation (v. 5), and by doing so our testimony will honor the Lord.
Psalm 14:
God will always be searching for those who seek him and will give them peace and not fear (v. 5). –
“For the Lord is righteous, he loves justice; upright men will see his face.”~Psalm 11:7 If we are righteous, than we will be with Him in His presence
“And the words of the Lord are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times”~Psalm 12:6
God’s word is always refined and holy.
“I will sing to the Lord for he has been good to me.”~ Psalm 13:6
God has always been good to us so it’s our duty to always praise Him.
“There they are, overwhelmed with dread, for God is present in the company of the righteous.”~ Psalm 14:5
God will be present in the company of the righteous and those who fear Him. –
“But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me.”Psalm 13:5-6 NIV
Gods love will protect us in any circumstance and if we trust in him with whole heartily he will shower us with love
Psalm 14 -(v3) All have turned away, all have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.
-No one was good in the eyes of the LORD, that’s why Jesus came down to earth to save “everyone”.
-And, the Lord and savior Jesus Christ restored His people. He is the Way, Truth and Life, “salvation” comes only through Him.
