Psalm 24:He who has clean hands and a pure heart, will receive blessing from the LORD.

Psalm 24 -(v3-5) who may stand in his Holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart. They will receive blessing from the LORD.
-Will we be stand in his holy place, time to self examine ourselves, time to repent, let’s have clean hands and pure hearts.

The king of all (power,glory, creator,Redeemer, etc), makes and gave everything for us(universal). But the one who utilize may differs (by clean/ unclean; holy/ unholy;). The one who utilize properly gets the reward (blessings). Am I ready to utilise the given opportunity???? Thanks God for gave the opportunity to utilize ur belongings to serve you. Amen.

“The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. They will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God their Savior.”‭‭Psalm‬ ‭24:4-5‬ ‭
The people who have pure hearts and don’t follow anyone but God shall receive blessings from God. So we should be like the people who have pure hearts and shouldn’t follow anyone but God. –

All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of his covenant.

He shall receive the blessing from the Lord and the righteousness from the God of his salvation

Psalm to Calm inside the stormOne can picture little David sitting in the blazing sun surrounded by dust and dry land with small plants, puddles and predators . He probably was a very scared young skinny shepherd boy sitting by a small bush with his little rod. Within this personal loneliness and weariness this Psalm is born.
This Psalm shows the covenant love of God. Couldn’t help noticing the “my”, “with me” “makes me” . Look who dominant the verbs in this Psalm – God. Not just a God but a extremely personal God. The reason this Psalm is universal is not at all surprising. But there is a paradox here. The reason this Psalm is “universally” popular is because it is very “very particular”. David is not interested in a general God of the universe who is all
powerful but a tender God who care for him in his timidity. In our times of multiculturalism it is with worth thinking about this Psalmist. This must be stressed. Otherwise this Psalm will be sentimental instead of sacred.
David had a restless life – wounded by his parents, rejected by Saul, guilty by his adult choices, a failed parent and a miserable father who had to see his infant dead and his children killed. It is from inside this storms of life, he draws the tranquility of Psalm 23. No wonder this Psalm has given peaceful death to many and vigor to millions.

Psalm 24: We do not worship an ordinary God; we worship the Lord who is strong and mighty, mighty in battle (v. 8). Also, we worship the Lord who is the sole proprietor of the universe. “The earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it, the world, and those who live in it” (v. 1).

– many with high and wide gates in their houses, do not have space in their heart for Jesus to enter!

– but why do hearts stay away from Jesus Christ – God of Glory?
– let us break our hearts and make ways for Him; wide and tall
