Psalm 30: Weeping to rejoicing, wailing to dancing and sackcloth to joy and silence to praises; for his anger lasts only a moment but his favor lasts for a lifetime (vv. 5, 11, 12). Something to think about as look back at another church year…
For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning. – Psalm 30:5.
Psalm 30 -(v8) What is gained if I’m silenced, if I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise you? Will it proclaim your faithfulness?
-If we be silent, if we don’t rise up for Him when we have strength, what is the use?
-We should open up, rise up, and proclaim his faithfulness when we have strength.
Psalm 30:(v1) I will exalt you Lord.
(v12) My heart may sing your praises and not be silent. Lord my God, I will praise you forever.
We need to praise our almighty God at all times.
“Let everything that has breath praise the LORD”
Psalm 30: Lord’s anger is for a moment but His favor is for a lifetime (v. 5).
