Psalm 47: God is awesome–a great king over all the earth (vv 2, 8). Sing praises to God–Clap your hands and shout to God with loud songs of joy (vv. 5-6).

Psalm 47- Our God is king over all the earth. Highest honor and praise belong to him.

“For the Lord Most High is awesome, the great King over all the earth. He subdued nations under us, peoples under our feet.”‭‭Psalm‬ ‭47:2-3‬ ‭
Psalm 47 envisions all the worlds people clapping and shouting praise. Our God alone deserves that level of honor because he is the Lord most high, who rules the earth, ever people and nation. We serve such an AWESOME GOD!!!!

Psalm 47 announces that God is the Ruler of all the earth. As it says in verse 7, we should clap and sing to God; He alone deserves our praise for He is a very AWESOME God. –

“Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy.” ~ Psalm 47:1. This whole psalm talks about the wonders of God and why we should praise him. We have countless things to praise God for because of all the things He’s done for us. –

Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises! – Psalm 47:6 let’s sing praises to God

Psalm 47 -(v6-7) Lord our God is the King of all the earth. Sing praises to Lord our God, sing praises; sing praises to the King of kings, sing praises.

To our God belongs all thingsLet the whole earth clap and sing
He alone is our King
To Him alone will I bring
My request on Angels wings
On His cross I will cling
Oh sin! Where is your sting?
