Psalm 46: The Lord of hosts is with us (vv. 7, 11); a very present help in trouble (v. 1). Therefore we will not fear (v. 2).

The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah – Psalm 46:7. The LORD is with is and so let’s not be shaken at any circumstances.

Psalm 46:1 The great and mighty God is our refuge and strength.This gives me confidence and courage to face this day.

Psalm 46:1- It says that God is our refuge and our strength. He is always present when we have trouble and he is present even when we don’t have trouble.

Psalm 46- (v.7,11) The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. God is always there to keep us safe. He is always there for us.

Psalm 46:10: “Be still, and know that I am God”. We will know about our God a lot more when we are still.

Psalm 46 talks about 2 important aspects of God. The first is that God is a refuge for his people. The authors address God as a refuge at the beginning, middle, and end of the psalm to constantly remind us that God is our refuge (v. 1, 7, 11). The second is that God is powerful. Every other verse besides the ones that address God as a refuge talks about God and His power, a God who “will be exalted among the nations” and “in the earth” (v. 10). He deserves all our praise. –

“Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” ~ Psalm 46:10. God is awesome in power and He will be with those who follow his ways. –

Psalm:46″1 God is our refuge and strength , A very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear , Even though the earth be removed , And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though its waters roar and be troubled , Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah”(v1-3)
God is midst us in our daily life. He is our refuge at all times. His help is greater than any crisis.
He gives us peace when we go to Him.(v4-6)

When we are in trouble we can call unto the Lord and he will be there to help us and he will give us strength to fight the troubles. –

Psalm 46 -(v1) God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
-Isn’t it so true, when we are in trouble, it is possible that our friends, relatives, even the latest technologies might give up on us or might not be able to solve our problems.
-He is our only hope who can solve any issues at anytime.

Psalm 46: It encourages to hope and trust in God. | Refuge, Strength, Fortress. | “Come and See what the Lord has done” | “Be still, and know that I am God.

சங்கீதம்:46:7 சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் நம்மோடிருக்கிறார், யாக்கோபின் தேவன் நமக்கு உயர்ந்த அடைக்கலமானவர். (சேலா.) – our God always with us . He always protects us , be trust in God

3 அதின் ஜலங்கள் கொந்தளித்துப் பொங்கி, அதின் பெருக்கினால் பர்வதங்கள் அதிர்ந்தாலும், *நாம் பயப்படோம்* – we are comfortable reading this and we can also sing, when in comfort zone. Let us remember this when in trouble. I am sure we will (should) definitely get a chance to prove we are strong in Christ!
