Psalm 72:12 For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also and him that hath no helper
Psalm 72 talks about the characteristics that make God a perfect King. He will bring justice to the poor (v. 4), save the children of the next (v. 4), bring peace throughout the land (v. 7), end oppression and violence (v. 14), bring prosperity (v. 16), and reign forever (v. 17, 19). God’s reign will be magnificent and universal.
Psalm 72- Through this Psalm we can understand the heart of Solomon. As a king he cared for the weakest of the society.My prayers for the rulers that they would defend the cause of the poor and needy and uplift their lives.
Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things. – Psalm 72:18. Our God is a wonder working God and as his child we should expect the unexpected.

Psalms 72:2,3 Under the righteous King’s rule, His people will be treated with justice-they will be prosperous and enjoy a life filled with fruits of righteousness.
Psalm 72: Praise be to the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds.
Psalm 86:10 For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God.
Psalm 96:3 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.
