Psalm 107: “Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wonderful works to humankind” (vv. 8, 15, 21, 31). This is repeated 4 times. “Them,” according to this Psalm are the redeemed (v. 2) and the wise (v. 43).
Psalm 107:13 then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble and he saved them out of their distress
Psalm 107: O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Psalm 107:31- God’s love ❤ is unfailing and his works are wonderful.
Psalm 107: Throughout this psalm we see disobedience, repentance and restoration. It’s a cycle. Vs6, 13, 19, 28 repeatedly says cried out. We cry out only when things are painful, realize when we have no help and when true sorrow or darkness strikes us. When we truly recognize our situation and humbly cry out to God, He is faithful and gracious to pull us out of darkness.
Psalm 107 -(v20) He sent out his “word” and healed them.
-The Word (Jesus) became flesh and made dwelling among us, He is full of grace and truth (John 1:14).
-Jesus said “Go, your son will live”. The man took Jesus at his “word” and departed (John 4:50). The “word” healed his son!

For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things. – Psalm 107:9 Do we have that longing soul?
9 For He *satisfies the longing soul*, And *fills the hungry soul*with goodness.- Let us thank Him for His Goodness and wonderful works!
