Psalm 132: The first part of this Psalm demonstrates David’s passion and commitment towards securing a dwelling place for the Lord (vv. 2-9). Verse 1 & 10 are pivotal as it is a prayer to remember David. The last part of the Psalm describes the Lord’s response towards securing David’s throne. Our love for God and His dwelling place and the prayer we offer are well received and our Lord in return to our passion & prayer blesses us with his presence and provisions.
Psalm 132:12. Just as we were taught, we should teach the future generations about God’s covenant and testimony in order to build His Kingdom. –
Psalm 132-David’s passion for God’s house was known to the people of Israel.
His enemies I will clothe with shame, but on him his crown will shine.” – Psalm 132:18
Psalm 132 -(v14) This is my resting place for ever and ever; here I will sit enthroned, for I have desired it.
-Our Lord’s desire is also to dwell in us if our heart is as holy as Him. Do we have the desire to give our heart to Him?
Psalm:132″14.This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell , for I have desired it.”
He rests in those who rest in him.
