1 Thessalonians 2 -(v6) We were not looking for praise from people.
-If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ (Galatians 1:10).
-We should try to please God by bringing glory to His name.

1 Thessalonians 3: The Thessalonians would be established (strengthened) in their faith and in their love for one another. This was Paul & his coworker’s prayers and desires.

1 Thessalonians 2 -(v8) For now we really live, since you are standing firm in the Lord.
-We will get eternal life if we remain in the Lord.
-We will fulfill the purpose of our life if we can make people to stand firm in the Lord!
