1. Early morning time with God
“…He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen” Is 50:4 Anyone who has spent early morning quiet time with God will vouch for its effectiveness. Sometimes even though we manage to wake up, to spend some time praying and reading the Bible, our quiet time can get chocked with worldly cares. We should pray for a stronger and effective early morning meditation time. God waits for us each morning, waiting to listen and talk. If we continually fail to respond, there will come a time when we might not find him waiting.
2. Faith
The disciples, as long as Jesus was with them lacked faith. Jesus had to chastise them a few times with the words, O, ye of little faith”. On the other hand, Habakkuk 3:17, 18 sets a good example for us, Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vine, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.” That’s faith. Pray for that faith. Are we up to the challenge, ?? when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”
3. Spiritual gifts
We have different gifts according to the grace that is given to us. These gifts are, preaching, teaching, encouraging, serving, and giving among others. We should pray that through the use of these gifts others might benefit and that God may be praised through Jesus Christ.
4. Talents and ministry
Each of us is endowed with talents that we should use for the glory of God. Pray for these talents and the ministries of the gifts of the spirit
5. Discipline and punctuality
Above all pray for discipline. Unless we are diligent in our everyday life, we cannot be a light that shines before men, seeing the good works of which they can glorify the father in heaven.
When you pray for others, pray for their peace, their joy and expansion of their spiritual boundary
